Verification Policy

1. What verification is

Verification is a check carried out by the moderation team on a profile that requests it, aimed at increasing the consistency between the profile and the person who publishes it.

It is an additional quality signal. It is optional and does not condition publication.

2. How it is carried out

The professional submits the elements requested from their professional area. The moderation team reviews them and takes a decision.

The elements submitted are used only for this purpose and are never published.

3. What verification does not guarantee

Verification does not guarantee the identity of a person, does not certify their qualifications or authorisations, and does not amount to any endorsement or recommendation by the platform.

The platform makes no claim of absolute safety and no guarantee of identity. Users must remain cautious in their interactions.

4. Display

A profile whose verification has been accepted may display a corresponding indicator. The absence of the indicator does not mean that the profile is not genuine: it may simply mean that verification has not been requested.

5. Withdrawal of the status

The verified status may be withdrawn at any time, in particular if the profile is substantially changed, if the elements provided prove to be inaccurate, or following a substantiated report.

6. Handling of the elements provided

The elements provided for verification are private, are accessible only to the authorised staff who process them, and are subject to the rules described in the Privacy Policy.
