Terms of Use

Version 2.0.0 · In force since August 7, 2026

These terms govern access to and use of the Elite Contactos platform by visitors and by professionals who publish a profile.

1. Scope

These Terms of Use apply to every person who accesses the Elite Contactos platform, whether they simply browse published profiles or hold an account and publish a professional profile.

Paid visibility services are additionally governed by the Professional Terms of Sale. In the event of a conflict on a commercial matter, the Professional Terms of Sale prevail.

2. Eligibility

The platform is strictly reserved for adults. Access is prohibited to anyone under the age of majority applicable in their country and, in any event, to anyone under 18.

Publishing a professional profile is reserved for adults acting in connection with an independent professional activity that they are legally entitled to carry out in their jurisdiction.

3. Accounts and security

An account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential and for every action carried out from your account.

You undertake to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Accounts created with false identity data, or used on behalf of a third party without authorisation, may be suspended.

4. Professional publishing

Professionals publish under their own responsibility and in their own name. Before publishing, they must confirm the professional status declaration, which is a separate document with its own version.

Each professional is responsible for complying with the legal, administrative, social, accounting and tax obligations applicable to their activity in their own jurisdiction. The platform does not provide legal, accounting or tax advice.

5. Content and licence

You retain all rights over the texts, photographs and other content you submit. You grant the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, limited to the duration of publication, to host, reproduce, adapt in format, translate, index and display that content for the sole purpose of operating and promoting your profile on the platform and in search engines.

You warrant that you hold every right required over the content you submit, including the rights of any person appearing in it.

6. Prohibited use

The following are prohibited in particular: illegal content; content involving minors or presenting a person as a minor; content published without the consent of the persons appearing in it; impersonation; fraudulent or deceptive profiles; infringement of third-party rights; automated scraping; attempts to circumvent security or moderation measures.

Publishing rules are detailed in a dedicated document that forms an integral part of these terms.

7. Moderation and reporting

Content may be reviewed before or after publication. Any user can report content through the reporting procedure available on the site.

Reports are processed by the moderation team. The measures that may be applied, the information provided to the person concerned and the review options are described in the Content and Moderation Policy.

8. Suspension and closure

The operator may restrict, suspend or withdraw a profile or an account in the event of a breach of these terms, of the publishing rules, or of applicable law, and in the event of a serious risk to the safety of users.

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Closure does not release either party from obligations that arose before it, and does not by itself terminate an ongoing paid subscription, which is governed by the Professional Terms of Sale.

9. Role of the platform and independence of professionals

The operator provides a directory and visibility service. It is not a party to any relationship formed between a visitor and an independent professional, and it does not supply the services those professionals may advertise.

No employment, agency, partnership or joint venture relationship is created between the operator and a professional through the publication of a profile.

10. Availability

The platform is provided on a best-efforts basis. Access may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, security or technical reasons, or because of events outside the operator's control.

The operator may make the platform evolve, and may add, change or discontinue features, without this in itself giving rise to compensation, subject to what is provided in the Professional Terms of Sale for paid services.

11. Liability

The operator is liable in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory law.

Within those limits, the operator is not liable for content submitted by users, for the conduct of users, or for the outcome of interactions between visitors and independent professionals.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The version number and effective date shown at the top of this page identify the version in force. Continued use after the effective date of a new version constitutes acceptance of that version for the future.
